1. How to Claim & Receive your certificate for a successfully completed activity

To claim and receive your certificate after successfully completing an activity on Knowledge Lab, you can follow these easy steps:

1. Once you’ve completed the activity, you need to navigate to the Certificate Section at the end of the activity and click on the ‘CPD Certificate’ activity.
2. Enter your information (First and Last Name) as requested and click on ‘Claim certificate’.
3. You can download your certificate directly on the activity once claimed by clicking on ‘Download Certificate’.
 Once you’ve claimed your certificate in the activity, your certificate will automatically be issued into your Profile for easy access at a later stage.

2. How to access your certificates for activities completed on Knowledge Lab

All the certificates for activities which you have successfully completed on Knowledge Lab are issued into your profile where you can access and download to view them.

  Your certificates for attending congresses, conferences or in-person events are NOT listed under your profile and can be accessed within the new 'My CPD Feature' feature within your learning portfolio.
To access your certificates on your profile you can follow these steps:
1. Visit Knowledge Lab Namibia and sign into your profile. Once signed in, you’ll be directed to your Dashboard.
2. Click on ‘Go to my profile’ to access your profile.
3. Your certificates for all successfully completed activities will be listed under the Achievements section within your Profile.
4. Click on the PDF icon for the relevant certificate to download and view it.

3. What is ‘My Congress CPD’ (Event Certificates)

‘My Congress CPD’ is the new feature within Knowledge Lab where all the certificates for attending congresses, conferences or workshops (any in-person event) are issued and accessible by members as part of their Knowledge Lab learning portfolio.

  All certificates issued to members in their Knowledge Lab portfolios for activities completed (congresses, conferences, courses & journals etc.) prior to 4 July 2025 have been stored within the Historical Certificates section under My Congress CPD.

4. How activate your ‘My Congress CPD’ feature (Event Certificates)

Any Knowledge Lab member who needs to view their CPD / attendance certificates for attending congresses, conferences or workshops, must activate their ‘My Congress CPD’ feature before they can access the certificates.
  Activating your My Congress CPD feature is ONCE OFF PROCESS, where after you’ll be able to access your certificates in My Congress CPD via a One-Time Passcode (OTP) only.

To activate your ‘My CPD Congress’ feature you need to follow these steps:

1. Visit Knowledge Lab Namibia and sign into your profile. Once signed in, you’ll be directed to your Dashboard.
2. Click on ‘My Congress CPD’.
You will be directed to the TeachCore Account creation page.
  Please note that TeachCore powers the My Congress CPD feature in Knowledge Lab.
3. Click on ‘No account? Create one’ on the pop-up window.
4. Enter your Knowledge Lab email address on the new pop-up and click on ‘Next’.
You will receive an email with a unique one-time passcode to the email account entered.
5. Enter the Account verification code included in the email into the pop-up window and click on ‘Next’.
6. Enter your Name and Surname and click on ‘Next’.
Your My Congress CPD feature has now been activated. You will be directed to your My Congress CPD Dashboard from where you can access your certificates.

To return to your Knowledge Lab profile:
1. Click on ‘Access to my e-learning’.
2. Click on ‘Yes’ on the pop-up notification which will direct you back to your Knowledge Lab profile.
You will be directed back to your Dashboard on Knowledge Lab.

5. How to access your Congress or Workshop certificates (Event Certificates)

The CPD certificates for attending congresses, conferences or workshops (any in-person event) are accessible within the My Congress CPD feature of members’ Knowledge Lab learning portfolios.

To access your congress / event certificates, you can follow these easy steps:

1. Visit Knowledge Lab Namibia and sign into your profile. Once signed in, you’ll be directed to your Dashboard.
2. Click on ‘My Congress CPD’.
You will be directed to the TeachCore Sign In page.
  Please note that TeachCore powers the My Congress CPD feature in Knowledge Lab
3. Enter your email address and click on ‘Next’ to receive your unique one-time passcode (used to sign in).
  If you receive a message stating that your account could not be found, you need to Activate your My CPD feature.

You will receive an email with a unique one-time passcode to the email account entered.
4. Enter the Account verification code included in the email into the pop-up window and click on ‘Next’.

You will be directed to your My Congress CPD Dashboard.

5. Click on ‘CPD Manager’ on the left hand menu and select ‘My Certificates’ on the drop-down list to open the My CPD Certificates page.
All your certificates for attending congresses, conferences or workshops will be listed under Event Certificates.
6. Locate the respective certificate that you want to view and click on 'Download Certificate' to download and view it.

6. How to access your Historical Certificates (Issued prior to 4 July 2025)

All certificates issued by Knowledge Lab prior to 4 July 2025 have been moved into the Historical Certificates section of each member within My Congress CPD - which include certificates for all type of activities completed (courses, journals and attending in-person events like congresses / conferences and workshops).

To access your historical certificates, you can follow these easy steps:

1. Visit Knowledge Lab Namibia and sign into your profile. Once signed in, you’ll be directed to your Dashboard.
2. Click on ‘My Congress CPD’.
You will be directed to the TeachCore Sign In page.
  Please note that TeachCore powers the My Congress CPD feature in Knowledge Lab
3. Enter your email address and click on ‘Next’ to receive your unique one-time passcode (used to sign in).
You will receive an email with a unique one-time passcode to the email account entered.
4. Enter the Account verification code included in the email into the pop-up window and click on ‘Next’.

You will be directed to your My Congress CPD Dashboard.

5. Click on ‘CPD Manager’ on the left hand menu and select ‘My Certificates’ on the drop-down list to open the My CPD Certificates page.
6. Click on 'Historical Certificates' in the top menu.
All your certificates issued by Knowledge Lab prior to 4 July 2025 is listed and available.
7. Locate the respective certificate that you want to view and click on 'Download Certificate' to download and view it.
