Introduction

According to the Wound infection continuum (2022), nurses, doctors and pharmacists must have a good understanding of the different types of infection, when to use topical antimicrobial therapy and when to involve the use of systemic antibiotics. A clear understanding on how to correctly implement the use of the published treatment pathways is crucial to improve patient outcomes and the standard of care.

This scientific webinar will focus on presenting the latest published AMS guideline, how to integrate this guideline into clinical practice and how to improve standard of care based on evidence based best practice guidelines.
